RN Supervisor- Positions for Evenings, Nights, and Weekends

Currently licensed graduate of an accredited school of  nursing with a current NYS Registered Nurse License. C.P.R. Certified. Prior supervisory and geriatric nursing experience. Should exhibit a high degree of professional competence.

Recommends or assigns staff to accommodate lateness, absence, overtime, permits early leaves from shift and makes assignment changes.

Evaluate on a day-to-day basis employee work performance and participates in education of staff, as needed.

Maintains discipline and compliance with all facility policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines with in their assigned work areas (patient/resident care areas).

Oversees and supervises nursing care on his or her shift. Makes rounds at the beginning and end of the shift and as needed, to assure that proper care is being given and to check resident’s/ patient’s condition.
